I’m a Canberra based food writer and chef with a passion for food sovereignty and feminism.

I love discovering more about the world through making meaningful connections with people, preferably over a plate of food. I worked as a chef for over a decade, promoting local, seasonal cooking and now spend my time writing about the food and hospitality industries in Australia.

Since 2020 I’ve been on a journey to understand more about food in Australia by learning from women working across the food and beverage industries. The result is a debut book called:

Fed Up: A Chef’s Adventures in Food, Farming & Feminism.

It will be published by Monash University Publishing in March. Preorders available now.

My writing focusses on food and the hospitality industry as well as personal essays and long form non-fiction. I am a regular staff contributor for Region Media.
